hangover

Partied with the crew yesterday night. Well i must say it was one of those night that was really memorable, endless drinking....endless dancing, endless thumping of the break beats....The whole nite was filled with RnB music, and whatsmore the cover charge was cheap man, which was @ $15..kewl.

Reach MOS at around 8.30 met up with seng, then @around 8.45 dudes finally came, though they were late but nonetheless they were coming. Steven was pathetic he queued alone haha....but even when we were in the first queue in, we took about 20mins to get our butts in the club, clubbers were still swarming to the current hyped up MOS. Got in to MOS, we order a bottle of wine, a chivas and got ourself a table. But we won't contented, cause everyone had the intention of drinking to their hearts content that night...but I must say and was impress by the ladies, they were the better drinker, Clarance got farking drunk and I had to send him home, Ian was already half past out, seng went home at around 2 due to feeling fatigue, while me and steven was still creating some of our own moves haha. But it was an experince to see the place for myself, the toilets were really something, it was better furnished then ZOUK.
Left the place at around 3.30am haha, all beaten out by the thunderous claps of the beats in the club....but be sure its not the last you will be seeing us at MOS...

I must say the turn out was a blast with clubbers, but comparing famous peeps you see at ZOUK, they both cater to different niche of the market. Its like yesterday night PAUL VAN DYK was at Zouk, I am not sure if MOS intentionally had DJ KO FLOW(the 99 technics turn tablist sg champ) to do his thing on the decks of MOS. Hahaha which steven proposed to take a pic with, and we really did....haha wait till i get my hands on those photo from the ladies....yea....cheers to a wonderful lunar new year.

2 more days to Lunar New Year

Well its 2 more days to Lunar New Year, my year the DOG year....haha well its also 2 more days to my 23 birthday, erm getting older..that sucks more responsibility and burdens to bear. Again will be alone for another year....haha

Still I feel like its so busy, with so much things to cope with, it just don't feel right...so much stuff to anticipate after the lunar new year..erm to me it feels like I would be the only chinese who won't enjoy his chinese new year holidays...with the latest my HD of Dept who would be leaving right after new year, she finally couldn't take the pressure and resigning from the force. Well signifies a new order in the office, almost everyone who is leaving are packing and are on the way to a new start....whereas here I am another 10 more mths to struggle....arghhh.....

Saw this ad while on my routine surf on the info highway, saw this ad by TBWA/PARIS its hilarious, the idea was farking funny...the way they related the monkey and the tarzan, its so intertexulized having the Tarzan character with the chimp....just because they are intoducing the Hansaplast, banana flavoured condoms...damn funny. TBWA/PARIS has been creating ads that are fantastic like the one they did for EMI records which won the grand prix at CANNES for BEST PRINT category, they are just mind blowing, great job by the creative team and also the accounts planner, who defiently came up with good brief in order to persuade the clients into doing all those mind blowing ads.

I love Bryan Adams...it just brings back memory.....maybe some things aren't just easy to get forgotten espcially a person....

swee,,,,,eeee

well its another entry for yet another boring week that has just passed.

Went to Eski bar over the weekends for a small celebration cum gathering with some close friends. Had some cocktails which I found mine that taste more like a mocktail. Had a great time there, it was fucking freezing in there, had to put on jackets to keep our balls warm...

Gan joined us at around 12 plus for a game of big 2 at the pub haha, hes a busy man working on freelance photography jobs hahaha for a client at Fullerton.... What thrilled me was the absolut apeach, fuck man that was the coolest bottle i rcved. Thanks Gan....

Back to office, work and more work....after one comes another. Task given to me was like never ending, and yet the reservist men told me I would promote to SSGT, I really don't give a damn about the rank cause NS guys rank dosen't even hold any weight. That sucks.

Well chinese new year is coming and also my birthday...erm another year older. So much to anticipate for this coming new year....whether everything goes well next year, all depends on the coming months.

AwWww....

Another post in my online journal....being writing quite a few entires already. Ermmm what started out as a for fun thingy has turned out to become a forthnightly written journal. Taking some time every now and then from my so busy schedule(haha) to input interesting happenings in the week.

Just another entry for today. Visited kukup in Malaysia today for team building session with the divison. Well it was nothing in relation to the word "FUN". Cause everything we did that was under the act, could see some unhappy faces as we assembled at the station in the early morning, that of cause included me upon knowing that our deptartment would be split up. What was worse was that the office staff were practically randomly thrown into different teams to make up the numbers, which was so sad. It just defeats the purpose of having team building, when they actually segment the higher ranking officers and the junior officers. Wonder what the fuck is the organising committee up to....

Like usual in malaysia, nothing really interesting happened through out the trip. Well was the first time at Kukup, heard it was reknown for its seafood and kelong, but it wasn't as fantastic as it sound from words of mouth. During the first half of the excursion we were told how delicious the seafood would be, but when it was really presented in front of us nothing really caught my eyes let alone say tasting it. Maybe they just wanted us to anticipate for it, and allowed those who really want to go home to have something to look forward too(haha).

Well reach SG at 2015hrs, went off from the checkpoint and took a cab home. I don't know why It just felt great to be able to set foot on home soil. Well just as I reach home, the news was aired. Heard that there will be bonus given to NSF and NSmen alike, woa thats really something to cheer about just before chinese new year. 3 cheerios to that....

A disappointing competition at the HOME TEAM NS club house on sunday, we got 1 men down and the worse was that we up against one of the tougher teams in our league. Results were as followed 1st: Police coast Guard(PCG), 2nd Police Key Installation Unit(Kins), 3rd Police Delta Division(Clementi). The PCGs and KINs guys were fantastic in their shooting, they were all great marksman, they excel both in the air rifle and archery. Man if you were there you would understand why i said that.

Nonetheless good luck to foxtrot next year in this competition haha. As I would be no longer a active NSF hahahaha...Thank God.......

Well my birthday is coming soon. Well hope people do remember me....keke and they do wish me on that date. Dreaming so dreamy....

boom boom

Air pistol was all on my mind after the basic course I went through on Wednesday. It was really fun, I thought I would hate it cause I was never a real enthusiast. Had a feel of it and all in all I shot 60 small palettes at a go. To my surprise I had a pretty good score which landed me a spot in the air gun segment of the Home Team Ns Accuracy Challange, which would be held on the sun 15/01/06.

Missed the acrhery practice today due to a severe headache, must be the weather. Well guess the guys would most likely be having fun without me. Missing that was one, I even had to backout from the night cycling which the guys in the office planned like since last year.

Finally Vincent left the office this week, hes going on his ORD leave(well thats what he claims), to think of it he was the very last guy who still remained in the office when I first came in to Foxtrot, finally he is also leaving.
Vincent is a guy who talks loudly, oh ya did anyone mention he thinks that he knows the world haha...fuck him. A very cheery mate whos at times very ignorant to the things that is happening around him(naive), still I am glad to know him during my stint in foxtrot PNSmen office. GOna missed him greatly in the office.

New fellas started appearing outside my office...haha ya Nazri is leaving soon and his replacement is also here. Got introduced to him yesterday by Mdm Charlene. Just when I thought I was shy, Jack appeared haha...ermmm I too can see my date soon...haha just wait it will be my turn to shout out ORD LO, haha this reminds me stupid steven and guys are going to finish off earlier then me arghhh haha....got to off my mobile when they ORD.......

well another eve of a holiday

hey hey...back with another entry. Well it was really pouring out there, i tell you someones gotta to go get a plumber to fix the system up there(haha jus jokin).
Well saw this ad, was rather sad to see it cause the visual execution of the ad was really interesting but the copy was rather depressing. I wasn't sure it its because of the class that i am going through that caused me to comment on this ad.
The copy wrote something like "KILLING A TREE IS MURDER TOO", its for the world wildlife fund(WWF), but it certainly dosen't appeal to me. Guess for some of your info its done by the agency DAVID from India.

Attended my first mobilisation in the station, which involves the SCDF's as well, it was a nation event. Well very tiring had to be back at the station by 8 on a wet sunday morning, dark clouds and rain just regin terror the whole day. I was like practically repeating the same words over and over again that day. "SIR, whats your troop", "Sir, would you mind giving me your IC no. pls", "would you mind checking through your particualrs and if there is nothing wrong please sign at the bottom of the form, read through the declaration portion and declare for me. thank you" Fuck i tell you it was damn tiring did that for almost 200 times cause 200 reservist men reported that morning. What was worse we went home at 10 sian, lucky my OC send me home haha.

Steven called just now asking me to go for the Paul Van Dyk's gig, fuck I am defiently in for it man. Paul's the DJ when it comes to clubbing music, whats clubbing when you haven heard him spin. Hes been hail by clubbers around the world as the best DJ with his electrifying beats...well not gona miss him, its rather inspiring to hear him spin..

Was rather bored in the office today, did some kuku questionaire. Hahaha. All about 3 things?

THREE NAMES YOU GO BY : fuck! If they are reading this, somehow or rather you know who I am.

THREE SCREEN NAMES YOU HAVE HAD: Just one.Well I love the Oakland, but I am not sure if that’s how Oakle was derived from

THREE OF YOUR EVERYDAY ESSENTIALS: Handphone , mints and my tissue paper.

THREE THINGS YOU ARE WEARING RIGHT NOW: Fuck this question is rather stupid

THREE OF YOUR FAVORITE BANDS OR MUSICAL ARTISTS: Nickelback, coldplay, jay chou

THREE THINGS YOU WANT TO DO BEFORE YOU DIE: smoke weed , try the backdoor entry and decide if its really painful as it sounds , meet the person who I so much wish to meet at that point of time.

THREE THINGS THAT MAKES YOU A STEREOTYPICALLY MEN : chauvinistic(haha, no la definelty not me), drink beer, anything that is masculine

first times for all

Droplets of water just kept pouring down from the skys. It hass been pouring since noon, going on and off. I enjoy the moments of rain, it just makes the surrounding look so peaceful, thats of cause to ones view. Work ended early for me today, as we were preparing ourself for our basic courses at the HOME TEAMNs Clubhouse. Missed the session yesterday for the air gun due to the class I was still undergoing.

Well it was fun, got Nazri to drive us to Bukit Gombak in a police car, well that we save abit of money of transport. Had a cheap dinner at the coffeeshop there, waitied for Farhan to arrive in his real vintage 84 bike, well that Farhan is one hell of a retro kid...big shades, half face helmet. Well started with laser quest, which we played for free as part of a training session to prepare us for the competition that would be held on the 15 Jan, well went on to top the game haha with a total score of 230....well not bad considering a long hauled from the game. Immediatly after the session of chasing, falling and crashing we went to the archery range to start on our basic course for archery, it was fun though there was quite abit of stuff that we got to adhere before and in the midst of the shoot, but well it was all fun through out except for the time I was standing behind DIN and he let off his german gas.

Reached home was looking through some design annuals, browse to this very famous laselle Sia student whom i believe any aspiring young design students would take him as a role model, well I am not sure if its every student but it was for me and Steven. Hes got a whole array of awards that I think would not be able to fit on a normal shelf's rack. To name what he has won over the years he studied at Laselle just scares the shit our of me......Mr.Ang has won the prestigious young designer awards consecutively, a total of 23 crowbar awards 1st prize overall portfolio from my currect school, a silver award for photo manipulation in the creative awards and a silver spike for outdoor advertising. Looking from the awards he had revcieved its enough said about how creative he is.....man he is my idol haha.....

well too tired to write on got to go bed now...ciaozzz

2006 i LOve you

At the stroke of midnight, where was I? I asked myself..... on the 1st hour of 2006 there I was standing in the midst of party goers at ZOUK never did really understand myself and the rationale as to why I was there. But nonetheless it was an enjoyable night out with my dudes.

What was fulfilling this time was. I ushered New Year together with a bunch of friends in a club, the atmosphere was fantastic, it was really my first time ushering new year in a CLUB, some may say "hey, gordon you damn mountain tortise. Ha your first time doing it" but what the fuck everything has to come to a start right.

But it was sure memorable, I will defiently keep this memory with me for a long time.

Well back to my absolut thoughts after the clubbing.
1 year has finally passed. And so it tells me that time is really precious, time waits for no one. Like I remembered yeaster what the bouncer at zouk shouted at those peeps who strayed along the pathway to zouk, "people don't crowd around, its either YOU WAIT INSIDE OR YOU WAIT OUTSIDE", that sentence really meant something to me. Well months are drawing closer to my ORD date, time to get serious.

Reminiscence yesterday, with people I met up. Its incredible, one night and so much things just came back to me. Steven told one of Ying Ying's friend that I majored photography in Nafa, it just sunddenly gave me a knock on my head ya hor I majored photography, but why haven I been going out takhing photo. It was like a wake up call for me. Maybe after a year of ups and down after my relationship things just got rather wrecked up.

Well its time to really stop my crap pick myself from that old boots again and get the engine started. Don't want to think more or less just want to work it all out for myself.

Something I would like to share in the midst of the images i took when I was in school.
As I peeped
Through the viewfinder
Standing..so very still
My mind at peace
with what surrounds me…
where my world consists
only of a subject and me

and when I could hear
only my own breathing
utterly soft, yet so heavy
and as time freezes
with each space captured
as I reviewed each place
that I’d taken

In that moment, came quietly in a glimpse
An instance
In which I finally understood

That I have the freedom to stop even when everyone’s running.

I hope with all thsi words it would motivate and push me to break limitless boundaries.

Happy New Year.
